KPK under Dengue Attack



Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is under major dengue attacks as there were 247 cases discovered in the last 24 hours. The numbers of reported cases have surpassed the threshold of 8,000.


Peshawar is regarded as the region with the highest number of cases as 194 new cases have been discovered in the capital city of the province in the past 24 hours.


The District Administration said that Health Department and town municipal administration as well as the Water Supply and Sanitation Programmer was working on a dengue elimination campaign under their direction, and regular spraying was carried out in different areas.


The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief secretary has scheduled a seven-day special anti-dengue campaign to eliminate the disease-causing mosquitoes in the area. the DC, also known as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) was also directed all officers of District Administration to create all the necessary arrangements in order to eradicate the dengue mosquitoes.


The governor has also asked people to adhere to dengue protocol, which is a directive from health professionals since it is impossible to combat this disease without the help of the general public.
